Get Involved
Throughout Bangladesh millions of children as young as four years old are working both inside and outside of their home to help support their families. These children sometimes work 14 or 15 hours a day and some in abusive, hazardous or exploitative working environments. Working and marginalised children often do not get the opportunity to go to school because their families can not afford either the educational costs or the loss of income that results from the child not working.
SUF provides these children with free education giving them a chance to move into skilled employment and break the cycle of poverty. SUF also work with community members and parents to educate and raise awareness about child rights and the importance of education.
